Glamping In The Lake District

As many of you are aware, glamping has exploded in popularity over the recent years. Lake District Estates have three sites in the Lake District, that feature Wigwams and luxurious glamping pods.

Woodclose Park

Located within the beautiful valley of the River Lune in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a short distance to the Lake District National Park. Woodclose Park is Reception copya quiet and serene place, set within nine acres providing a unique holiday base to explore the National Parks in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Within a short walking distance from the Park is the spectacular River Lune and the three ribbed medieval arches of Devil’s Bridge, linked to legend in local tales. The picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is within half a mile and has a selection of award winning tearooms, restaurants & pubs. Opening dates : 1st March – 31st October (touring & glamping), self catering & holiday home owners until 1st January.

Waterfoot Park

Waterfoot Park, is located within the Lake District National Park, easily accessible from the North. Nestled in the grounds of a Georgian mansion overlooking Ullswater, just a short walk from the Ullswater ‘SteamWaterfoot WP Photoers’ Pier and Pooley Bridge village. The Park is an idyllic location for touring and self catering holidays with Mansion Cottages and Wigwams for hire on short and weekly lets. in addition to private holiday homes for sale. Waterfoot Park is a perfect location for those that enjoy walking, cycling, watersports, outdoor activities and heritage holidays. We are located on the Ullswater Way footpath which connects by cruise, foot and bus to the four main pier stops around Ullswater.
